  1. What’s your stance?

    1. Regular stance.

  2. Do you feel weird standing amongst the opposite stance?

    1. Not at all man

  3. You go both ways?

    1. Haha no no, not both ways, but I don’t mind the opposite stance.

  4. Can you put into words what surfing has done for you in the past 3 years.

    1. I’ve had an amazing time surfing. You know, I’ve explored a lot of places; I’ve toured around spots that I never would have been before. I’ve learned about the ocean, weather patterns, and other things that go on out there and it blows my mind. I can’t do anything really. It’s always going to be apart of my life! It’s like having a ski hill in the back yard. Full on, and you don’t have to pay for a lift ticket.

  5. What are your thoughts on the Canadian pro surf scene?

    1. I think it’s pretty awesome. Awesome being the word but it’s young here in Canada. Being fortunate enough to surf in Hawaii a bunch, and seeing all the age groups there, I know there’s a young group of people missing around here but the more and more all of us decide to stay here, the more and more were gunna have families, people are gunna grow up man and it’s going to make a generation of surfers. It’s happening, and having the most women in the line-up compared to some of the other parts of the world, it blows my mind. And ripping too.

  6. Is there anything that could make it better?

    1. You know what, I’m pretty content right now.

  7. When was the last time you ran a train?

    1. Haha I ran a train in a previous life; about 5 years ago. It was an amazing opportunity; I saw another piece of the country that I actually grew up in. I really appreciate the opportunity to live out here and learn from what I’ve done previously.

  8. Did you ever shovel coal?

    1. Haha No shovelling coal. Maybe in to a Barbeque maybe. Had a couple of steaks!
